Located conveniently close to all of our town’s restaurants and stores (some which can be reached by walking!). Though so close to town, The Eagle’s Nest is extremely private! Plenty of lawn space to hangout with your group along with a private balcony/chairs and grill. If you like to chase those gorgeous sunsets & sunrises, this is a great place for you! Watch the sun rise & set over the river from the apartment or take a peaceful stroll on the popular Sunrise Trail to do so.

Machias is a great home base for all your coastal adventures. Just under two hours away from Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park to the south and Lubec, Eastport, and Campobello Island N.B. to the north. Take the drive in your car or take advantage of the sunrise trail via ATV or bike! Note: In our small town, there are no taxi, bus, or Uber services!
