This 1800’s King Room on the second floor boasts spectacular views of the Machias River & you can see The Bad Little Falls in the distance! Old wood flooring, antique decor, and small Maine touches help to capture that historic farmhouse vibe. Cozy up next to the propane fireplace to one of our Maine reads & snack on the tray of goodies left for your enjoyment. If you’re lucky, you may catch a glimpse of eagles+seals passing by! Guests all have access to the grill on property, along with all tables/chairs & outdoor propane fire pit area. The Inn also has direct access to the popular Sunrise Trail and is within walking distance to multiple restaurants. You can also rent an ATV directly from your hosts to explore the trails! (Outdoor amenities may be seasonal)

We have a contactless check-in process by using technology and keyless entry door handles (code entry). On the day of arrival, you will receive your check-in information through text message as soon as your room is ready for you! While located almost in the center of Machias, you feel like you are miles away here at The Inn! A very private & considerably quiet location though located right in town! A beautiful spot along The Machias River & popular Downeast Sunrise Trail. Local restaurants/shops within walking distance, with Dunkin’ & Pat’s Pizza being almost directly across from the Inn.

We have lots of parking space here at The Inn and encourage guests to park wherever is most convenient! Walk, bike, or take your ATV on the Downeast Sunrise Trail to some of our towns’ restaurants and stores. Hop in your car and you can be there in seconds!
